Disenchanted with the noise of cities and the repetition of faces, Claire Amaouche turns her gaze to what remains—traces, echoes of presence in remote landscapes. In these quiet expanses, she does not merely capture the world as it is, but intervenes—painting onto her photographs, blurring the boundary between documentation and imagination, memory and myth. What emerges is a quiet meditation on isolation, impermanence, and the strange clarity found in emptiness.
